I'm passionate about life! Part of that passion means keeping my body hydrated. Looking back 24 years ago while I worked as a beautician I can hear myself telling people "make sure you drink enough water, you should be drinking two to three litres a day!". Where did that come from, why did I say that, how did I know?
After stopping and asking myself this question, I remember being quite young, seeing a lady break something, then very quickly saying "I need to drink water!" So from witnessing that I formed a belief that to function well you have to be hydrated!
A lot of core beliefs I find in myself are outdated and require changing, however I think I may applaud and give credit to all the water I have drunk throughout the years and to all the converted water drinkers because of me...Haha.
Looking at that though I could tweak and soften it a bit, because I want to function well even if I haven't had my daily requirement! So tada my new water belief will be "I enjoy drinking water because its so good for me!"
It really truly is, it makes your body function and flow properly, clears your head for thinking straight, helps with focus, balance, energy levels...the list just goes on and on.
It's the first thing I establish with new clients, I keep reminding old ones and i hear myself telling strangers and friends.
After I converted my husband he was so into it, he was going to get a small h2o tattooed discreetly on his hand to remind himself. Now he finds himself working with over 50 people and he will be the only one drinking water throughout the day (he just told me he's glad he didn't get the tattoo).
If you find it a tricky thing to do, you can even get "drink water" apps for your phones that remind you throughout the day. Your goal being based on your weight. If it's winter, it is harder to remember, to feel like it, but no less important, so everyone, "just do it".
