Ohhh these are DELICIOUS! Apple Cinnamon Energy Bites Recipe: 1 cup dried apples Half cup Medjool Dates Half cup Almonds, unsalted & dry roasted Half cup Oatmeal, Old fashion 1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup, Organic 1 tsp Cinnamon 1/8 tsp Allspice 2 tbsp Water Soak the Date in HOT water for 10 minutes after you remove their pit. Then put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend. Scoop out with spoon and roll into balls. Refrigerate. ~ & it feels AWESOME💪💪 I am learning so much about who I am on this Journey. I'm becoming healthier, stronger everyday. Its all about moderation..if you want a piece of cake, have a small one, you dont need to eat the entire cake..unless you really want to! Its about meal plans, putting in the work, and knowing you can do this!!! Just a few reasons I workout in the morning~ 1. I'm more CONSISTENT because I workout in the mornings. If I wait, I will spend the day talking myself out of a great workout. 2. It jump starts my metabolism. And trust me, at 44 years of age, I need all the help I can get. It can elevate metabolism for up to 24 hours. 3. I feel..am ENERGIZED/FOCUSED all day long. 4. My body has a ROUTINE. I NO longer need alarm clocks to wake me up, my body does that for me. Working out is a struggle at times, but it is a PRIORITY for me..not only my physical health, but mental as well. Working out is the cheapest therapy out there. STOP with the excuses, & just DO IT! Upper Fix is in the books~My body woke me up this morning ready to workout, not the alarm 🤓. I was impressed. I woke up ready to goooo. Maybe because Upper Fix is one of my favorite routines of 21 Day Fix. I increased my weights from 8 to 10 pounds for a couple of the rounds~I wanted to challenge my body a little more...push a little harder. Today is it~~Its Monday!! The day for Surrenders of Total Cardio Body Fix of 21 Day Fix. It was much easier for me to wake up and roll our of bed this morning. I was determined to push thru this workout. I modified less, and last longer thru the workout. 21 Day Fix is 30 minutes from start to finish! 30 minutes!! Let me just say~~HELL YES!! I kicked my ass today and EVERY SINGLE DAY this week with working out!!! I am sooo damn PUMPED!!! Today's workout was ME & WEIGHTS~~ NO videos...just me!! LOVED IT!!! Because of 21 Day Fix, I felt comfortable with doing a day with just me and weights... This morning, I told myself today would be rest day...and then the debates in my mind started. I knew IF I would take today as a rest day I would be furious with myself later. I knew IF I don't workout, I would be full of sass later on because of it. IF I didn't workout, I would be miserable. SOOO, I put on my workout clothes, drank my #energize  preworkout, and cranked up my stereo and kicked my bootie!!! And I am sooo PUMPED!! I love working out..challenging myself..mentally and physically!! Made Energy bites today for the first ever~I must admit, they r Delicious!! Recipe: 1 cup oats 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup natural peanut butter 1/2 cup ground flax seed 1/3 cup raw honey 1 tsp vanilla Mix ingredients & roll into balls. Our #transformationtuesday  ... Our 20th Anniversary in 2011 in Colorado VS us today! We have gained sooo much more energy, life, and health since starting our Journey. We have met and conquered several challenges along our way~~ Let me say, this Journey has taught me a lot. I am now out enjoying, exploring Iife instead of sitting and letting it go by...instead of watching other run and play, I AM doing the playing, hiking!!! Instead of being short of breath from walking in my yard, I now can hike for a few hours at a time and LOVE IT!!! I can and love working out! Crazy?
